Em Abuan is a skilled bodyworker who has been practicing massage for over 12 years. She has helped thousands of her clients find balance and has specialized in neck/back/shoulder tension relief.

Em's goal is to help people lead more fulfilling lives. She has worked as a disability caseworker in the past and knows first-hand how office work and long hours at a computer can affect the body. Whether you work from home or in an office, or on your feet all-day, Em can help you understand how your work ergonomics affect your body mechanics.

Em offers compassionate support by creating space for you to be, as you are, and to assist you in your health and wellness goals. Clients with migraines, tension headaches, insomnia, fatigue, stress and/or chronic pain have benefited from bodywork with Em. A custom session may include a combination of Connective Tissue Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Chinese Massage/Acupressure, Swedish, Thai bodywork, Breema and Reiki. Em may recommend a series of massages to reach your wellness goals more efficiently.

Em also enjoys helping clients balance their energy. She is a 4th level Reiki Master and has been practicing Reiki for over 20 years. Reiki energy can be incorporated into massage sessions as healing techniques or as a Reiki add-on. Most clients interested in energywork have mentioned that 30 minutes of Reiki provided a profound sense of grounding during times of great change in their lives.

Em is a proud graduate of University of Florida, Florida School of Massage, The Acupressure Institute, Center for Hypnotherapy, and the Breema Center. In her free time, Em enjoys martial arts, dance, yoga and spending time in nature. She is vegan and is happy to be using vegan products for your massage.
